Wallace Creek Regimental Complex - Camp Lejeune

The Wallace Creek Regimental Complex, owned by Naval Facilities Engineering NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, was constructed to provide the necessary administrative headquarters, maintenance and mission support, and training and housing facilities to support the approximate 3,000 Marines stationed at Wallace Creek. The LEED Silver project consisted of six barracks, a dining facility, two Headquarters Buildings with SCIF areas, a telecom facility, two motor transport buildings, storage / supply facility, armory, central energy plant, and assorted other support buildings on a 225-acre site. Kirlin-Way Mechanical in a Design Assist role, working with the project architects and engineers, providing drawing reviews, equipment selections and cost analysis. During the construction phase of the project, Kirlin-Way Mechanical provided mechanical and plumbing systems consisting of air-cooled chillers, air handlers, direct outside air systems, computer room air handlers and variable air volume terminals. Mechanical contract value was $27,300,000.
